「恐れ」がどこからくるのか不思議だった。
身近にある海にもそれがあった。
何の意思もなく動く存在の中に、自分があることが
海を生き物のように感じさせている。
I was wondering where “fear” coming from.
I feared the ocean I was used to.
Put myself into the ocean.
Surrounded by the life that moves with no will.
The ambiguity deludes me into feeling the ocean as a living being.
井上佐由紀
1974年福岡県柳川市出身。
1993年九州産業大学芸術学部写真映像学科に入学。
大学ではアメリカの現代写真の研究者として知られる故小久保彰氏に師事し写真史と写真表現を学ぶ。コマーシャルを中心にポートレイトからランドスケープまで幅広く写真表現を追求する。2010年フランス国立図書館に作品が収蔵されている。
